TaiChi, or Taiji Quan is a Chinese martial art practiced for both self-defense and its health benefits and has a history of over 200 years. TaiChi is a way to harmonize every aspect of your being – mind, spirit, body – into a unified flow,  a way of holisticallyandoptimally interacting with self and surroundings, a way towards a healthy and balanced life. Everyone has different experience when practicing it, I invite you to come and find out for more in the TaiChi introductory classes.

The TaiChi Introductory classes

In these classes, you will learn the basic movements of traditional Yang Style TaiChi practice. At the end of the classes you will be able to practice on your own. TaiChi is a never-ending perfection process. You need to practice it to experience and maximize the benefit of TaiChi.

Class 1 – Yang style Chapter 1

Everyone is welcome

Monday 6:30PM-7:45 PM, beginning Oct 14th  (16 sessions)

Class 2 – Yang style Chapter 1

Best for those who completed Chapter 1

Monday 7:30PM-8:45PM, beginning Oct 14th  (16 sessions)

Class 1 – Yang style Chapter 2

Everyone is welcome

Class 2 – Yang style Chapter 2

Best for those who completed Chapter 1

Monday 7:30PM-8:45PM, beginning Oct 15th  (16 sessions)

Location:   Rainier Taiji Foundation Studio (1803 132nd Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98006)

Cost:           $360  ($180 for C+AI women after the funding is approved by WLC board). Folks who are doing a repeat class, the cost will be 50% of the actual class cost.
